Our Reunion island team has just completed the reinforcement of both carriageway bridge decks simultaneously on the engineered structure of the interchange of "La Possession".

Following the 1000 lm base-slab carried out in the open-air, we are fixing rebar of the foundation base-slab, under French Railways tracks currently in use.
We have choosen heavy-duty pre-fabrication in our facility allowing us to carry out this section of structure in a very tight schedule.
To satisfy the specific needs of this exceptional project we have launched a dedicated training course together with the Lycee de l'Horizon (Sainte-Clotilde).
It is a C.A.P. "Construction of Engineered structures" qualification which has not existed in France until now.
Cyclist, Cyrille Genel, has honoured the SAMT Group whilst performing the mythic Paris-Brest-Paris race : 1230km in less than 51 hours and came in 67th out of more than 6000 participants from around the world.

SAMT Ingénierie are participating in the methodology and technical assistance for the implementation of concrete reinforcement of the future Atlantic bridge over the Panama canal. It will be the largest multi-stayed concrete viaduct in the world with a total length of 4,6 km.
The initial works consist in pre-fabricating the rebar cages for the uprights.

We are completing the reinforcement of the last layer of the RER pool which is the most technical and the most sensitive part of the reactor building. This part of the works reaches a ratio of 500kg/m3 of steel rebar. Anchorage plates and inserts must be incorporated demanding extremely tight tolerances. The quality of this work serves as an example in order to satisfy the safety requirements in nuclear construction.
