Construction site: Delta Junction HS2 precast segmental viaducts in Birmingham, UK

As part of the new High Speed ​​2 (HS2) high-speed line, gradual ramp-up of our site of 9 precast segmental viaducts. The Kingsbury precast yard has to date produced just over 100 segments out of the 2,742 that will be created. We are currently producing 2 single track typical segments per day. This rate will quickly increase to 4 segments per day from this summer. At the same time, a few weeks ago we started manufacturing SOPs and SOAs for single-track structures. When the production of these elements reaches its cruising speed, we will begin production of the double-track segments. In terms of support work, we have started the first piers and abutments of the Water Orton viaducts. (Client: Joint venture BBV: Balfour Beatty / Vinci).
